Bycycle production — ps-hero

Meet the production manager

10 years of e-bike design.
Designed down to the wire.

Nichlas has spent a decade designing, testing, and refining e-bikes. Every Bycycle is built on that experience — no shortcuts, no compromises.

In his words

I wanted a bike I'd still love in year five. Nobody was building it — so I did.

The short version

Ten years in the making.

10 Years of e-bike design
100+ Prototypes tested
2 Years in development
0 Corners cut

Two years. A hundred prototypes. One bike we'd actually ride.

From sketch to street

How a Bycycle comes to life

  1. Design1

    Design

Geometry, balance and every cable route, drawn from scratch.

  2. Prototype2

    Prototype

Built, ridden, broken and redrawn until it felt right.

  3. Manufacture3

    Manufacture

Frames cast and finished under our own eyes.

  4. Assemble4

    Assemble

Hand-built and tested before it ever ships.

The design

It started on the drawing board

Ten years of building e-bikes taught us exactly where they go wrong — too heavy, too fragile, too generic. So we started from a blank sheet: geometry, weight balance, every cable route. Then we prototyped, measured, and re-drew until it finally felt right.

The build

On the floor for every part

We don't email a spec and hope for the best. We're on the factory floor for the frame casting, the battery cells, the paint — checking tolerances, testing components, and choosing every finish by hand. Nothing makes it onto the bike without earning its place.

The finish

Assembled, tested, ridden

Every bike is hand-assembled and ridden on real streets before it ever ships. We don't design for the showroom — we design for year five, when the battery still swaps in three seconds and every part is still replaceable by the rider.
