What City U is, and what it isn't
No app
City U has no app and no ride stats. The display sits in the stem, and that's it.
Chain, not belt
The gears are sealed inside the hub, and the chain runs behind a chain guard.
The motor is in the front wheel
A front hub motor is simple, quiet and quick to replace, and it leaves room for seven gears in the rear hub. Don't pay for more motor than Danish terrain needs.

If your delivery is delayed, we agree a new date with you. If we miss that one too, you can walk away from the purchase and get your money back. Until you have the bike, the risk is ours.

You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay. Payment runs through Shopify, so we never see your full card number.

Returnable, even when assembled for you
You have 14 days to return the bike from the day you get it, and you don't need to give a reason. That includes a bike assembled to your choices. If you send it back, you pay the return shipping, and you get your money back within 14 days.
2-year warranty on the whole bike, battery included
The warranty runs from the day you get the bike, and it comes on top of your legal guarantee, never instead of it. One thing we ask: charge the battery at least once every two months, so it stays healthy. If the claim is valid, we pay shipping both ways.
FixFlow comes with your City U and starts the day you get it. It helps you work out what's wrong and walks you through what you can fix yourself. If it can't be sorted at home, we have our own workshop in Aalborg.
Then you can complain to Nævnenes Hus, the Danish consumer complaints body, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. You should know that before you buy, not after.
What if Bycycle disappears?
It's a fair question to ask a new company. Here's what protects you, without you having to take our word for it.
You don't pay months in advance. Your card is charged when you order, and the bike is ready in 1 working day.
You get 14 days to be sure. The return right runs from the day you get the bike, also when it's assembled to your choices.
The parts come from known brands. Gears from Shimano, tyres from Schwalbe and battery cells from Samsung. Gears and tyres are parts any ordinary bike shop knows.

Is Bycycle a real company?
Yes. Bycycle is run by Irmann Mobility ApS, a Danish private limited company with CVR number 46677439 and an address in Aalborg. You can look us up in the Danish company register in a minute.
You're brand new. What does that mean for me?
The company was founded in August 2026, so we don't have a long history to show you. Your rights are the same as with any other online purchase: 14 days to return it and a 2-year legal guarantee. And what we can't show you in years, we show you with names, addresses and a test ride.

You're buying from Irmann Mobility ApS, the company that runs Bycycle. Your card is charged when you order, and the bike is ready in 1 working day. Want to split the payment? Choose Anyday at checkout.

What if something breaks, the battery included?
You have a 2-year warranty on the whole bike, battery included, from the day you get it. It comes on top of your legal guarantee. Write to ride@bycycle.bike with your order number. If the claim is valid, we pay shipping both ways.
Who repairs it?
FixFlow comes with the bike and helps you find the fault. If it can't be sorted at home, we have our own workshop in Aalborg. The gears and tyres are from known brands any ordinary bike shop can work on.
Can I return it if it's assembled to my choices?
Yes. You have 14 days from the day you get the bike, and you don't need to give a reason. You pay the return shipping, and you get your money back within 14 days.
