Bycycle is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Children's Data
The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Data Deletion Instructions
You can ask Bycycle ApS to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
How to request deletion
Email ride@bycycle.bike with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Send it from — or tell us — the email address linked to your account or order so we can verify the request is yours.
What we delete
Once verified, we delete the personal data we hold about you, including account details, contact information, and marketing profiles. Where your data sits with our service providers (for example Shopify, Klaviyo, and Meta), we instruct them to delete it on our behalf.
What we may keep
We may retain limited information where the law requires it — for example order, invoice, and accounting records that must be kept for tax and bookkeeping purposes under Danish law. This is held only for as long as required and is not used for anything else.
Timeframe
We confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we need more time, or cannot delete certain data for a legal reason, we will tell you why.
Just want to stop marketing?
You don't need to delete your data to opt out. Use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails to stop marketing while keeping your account.

2. Products
Bycycle ApS sells electric bicycles (eBikes) and related accessories. Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for informational purposes. We take reasonable care to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that all details are error-free at all times.
All eBikes sold comply with EU Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 on market surveillance and with the applicable EN 15194 standard for Electrically Power Assisted Cycles (EPACs).
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed inclusive of Danish VAT (25%) where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
We accept the following payment methods: credit/debit card, MobilePay, and other methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order.
4. Order Confirmation
After placing an order you will receive an email confirmation. This constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract. If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
5. Delivery
We deliver to Denmark and selected EU countries. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary.
Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or circumstances outside our control.
eBikes are delivered partially assembled. Full assembly instructions are included. Professional assembly is recommended and available through our FixFlow partner network.
6. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy.
7. Legal Guarantee
All products are covered by a 2-year legal guarantee under EU and Danish law. See our Refund Policy for full details.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on bycycle.bike — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Bycycle ApS or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use any content without our written permission.
10. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By placing an order, you acknowledge that we process your data to fulfil the contract.
11. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting ride@bycycle.bike.

1. Right of Withdrawal — 14 Days
As a consumer purchasing online from Bycycle ApS, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Danish Distance Selling Act (Fjernsalgsloven).
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you, or a third party other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To withdraw, contact us before the 14-day period expires:

Clearly state: your name, address, order number, item(s) to return, and your decision to withdraw. We will confirm receipt by email.
3. Returning the Product
After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days. Ship to:

Return the eBike in its original packaging where possible, with all accessories, manuals, charger, and keys included. You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit.
4. Refund
We will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or evidence of return, whichever is earlier). Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
We may deduct an amount reflecting any diminished value of the goods if they have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (custom-configured eBikes)
- Sealed goods that have been opened where return is not suitable for hygiene reasons
6. Legal Guarantee — 2 Years
In accordance with the EU Sale of Goods Directive (2019/771/EU) and Danish law (Forbrugerkøbsloven), all products are covered by a 2-year legal guarantee from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing defects and non-conformity at the time of delivery.
Defects appearing within the first year after delivery are presumed to have existed at delivery. For defects appearing in year two, you may need to demonstrate that the defect existed at delivery.
To make a guarantee claim, email ride@bycycle.bike with your order number, a description of the defect, and photos where relevant.
7. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, contact us at ride@bycycle.bike within a reasonable time of discovery. We will arrange collection and replacement or refund at no cost to you.
8. Battery Disposal
Lithium-ion batteries must not be disposed of with general household waste. Please return old batteries to a designated collection point in accordance with EU Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).

Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to Denmark and selected EU countries. Available delivery destinations are shown at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or high demand periods. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the size of your order. eBikes require specialist freight delivery due to their size and weight.
eBike Delivery
eBikes are delivered by specialist freight carrier. Your bike will be delivered to your door, partially assembled. Full assembly instructions are included in the box.
Professional assembly is available through our FixFlow partner network — contact us at ride@bycycle.bike to arrange.
Order Tracking
A tracking number will be sent to your email address once your order is dispatched. Use this to track your delivery directly with the carrier.
Damaged Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately and contact us at ride@bycycle.bike within 48 hours of delivery. Do not discard the original packaging.
Failed Delivery
If delivery is unsuccessful, the carrier will leave a notification. If the parcel is not collected or re-delivery arranged within the carrier's holding period, it will be returned to us and we will contact you to arrange re-delivery (additional shipping costs may apply).
